學生情況

喬治亞大學開設(shè)79種學位項目，每年招收26000多名本科生和9000多名研究生。該校在《2011美國新聞與世界報道》的全美公立研究型大學排第18位, 其傳播學院與公共行政學院更為全美最頂尖的五所學校之一, 并為美國電視花生人獎(peabody Awards)的主辦大學, 被譽為美國南方三所公立常春藤大學之一。

教學資源

喬治亞大學擁有不少歷史建筑群與美國南方特色建筑, 大部分皆座落于南與北校園, 除了傳統(tǒng)歷史建筑外, 最近十幾年喬治亞大學不斷的擴建硬件設(shè)備, 包括新的學生活動中心, 學生學習中心,大學藝術(shù)博物館及演奏廳和全新的新學生宿舍。

校園環(huán)境

喬治亞大學位于佐治亞州東北部的雅典城（Athens），距州府亞特蘭大90公里，是全美國最大的大學城之一。喬治亞州農(nóng)業(yè)很發(fā)達，旅游業(yè)也很盛, 每年由州外之地來此游樂的人, 花費多至四億美元。雅典城附近為幅員遼闊的森林，十分潮濕。這里氣候變化明顯，夏天為潮濕的天氣，平均溫度攝氏20度-32度。冬天氣候干冷，會到攝氏零度左右。雅典城每年有許多藝術(shù)文化的盛宴，生活便利，課業(yè)之余可以參觀城內(nèi)的博物館、藝術(shù)館，或是從事戶外的休閑游憩活動。
