- 以藥學專業(yè)的背景去申請統(tǒng)計學和金融工程專業(yè)，我經(jīng)歷了理工科申請中最難跨越的難關(guān)——先修課程和技能背景缺失。這是再高的GPA、GT都很難去彌補的。我的取勝秘訣在于做一只早起鳥。在哈魯老師的指導下，我對目標專業(yè)的先修專業(yè)背景要求進行了充分的了解，并有針對性地去選修相關(guān)課程。此外，哈魯老師也在文書寫作上面給了我很大的幫助，成功將我非本專業(yè)出身的背景，與新專業(yè)的興趣點，新專業(yè)的學業(yè)和職業(yè)規(guī)劃有機合理地結(jié)合起來，強調(diào)我轉(zhuǎn)專業(yè)的決心，以及自身能力能夠勝任新專業(yè)學習和研究。

- 我的出國之路是充滿荊棘的。作為一名國內(nèi)普通本科的學生，我的硬件條件并不突出，能夠獲得CMU的錄取的確是意料之外的事。但是通過此次申請，我感受到GPA以及GT等硬件條件，雖然是學校的參考因素，但并不是參考的全部因素。其中，工作經(jīng)驗以及出國動機也占了相當重的比例。在這里，我真的要感謝哈魯留學的老師。他們幫我列的文書提綱讓我更深入地去思考自己的申請動機和優(yōu)勢，并幫我制定了有針對性的選校方案，幫助我最終獲得理想大學的錄取。

- 商科博士很少見，在加入哈魯之前，我上各大論壇找了很多信息，但是有用的信息非常少，我也了解到商科博士的錄取難度非常大，但是在物色機構(gòu)的時候我發(fā)現(xiàn)很多機構(gòu)都沒有商科博士的成功案例，在我快絕望的時候我找到了哈魯，找到了專業(yè)性非常強的老師。在接下來的日子里，哈魯?shù)睦蠋熍阄易哌^了苦逼的GT考試準備，漫長的套磁以及繁瑣的面試練習，并最終收獲美國和荷蘭幾所學校的商科博士全獎錄取。

- 生物醫(yī)學博士類的申請對于國內(nèi)本科生來說存在著巨大的難點。一是因為國內(nèi)教育和科研氛圍并沒有能為本科生提供較多的增加科研背景的機會；二是因為美國生物醫(yī)學類科研水平全球第一，對于非美國本土教育下的學生的背景持有懷疑態(tài)度。在研究經(jīng)費有限的情況下，國際學生招生數(shù)目極其有限。在這樣的一個大背景下，我建議大家一定要提前去準備，并且，在提升研究背景的時候不要局限于本校。校外研究機會，甚至是國外研究機會都可以盡量去嘗試。

- 每個申請者成功的方式可能不同。但是我認為也有一些共同的方面，具體如下：
1、把握好申請時間，尤其是商科申請越早越好，這一點哈魯?shù)淖稍儙熓亲龅猛Σ诲e的；
2、要打造好自己的硬件背景。好的GT、GPA，扎實的金融基礎(chǔ)知識是必備的；
3、要在文書里、面試中證明自學的能力，同時我認為學校會偏好一些自信的學生，但是同時也歡迎像我這種踏實、誠實的學生。總之，每個申請者都可以以自己的方式去打動招生人員。
